GlanLab and partner factories have over 20 years of history in the field of lab centrifuges, so what are some good suggestions for purchasing centrifuges?

Now let's talk about what maybe need to pay attention to.

1.Rotational Speed

In this respect, lab centrifuges can be divided into three types: low speed centrifuge, high speed centrifuge and ultra-high speed centrifuge. Generally, low speed centrifuge is below 10000 rpm, high speed centrifuge is above 10000 rpm, and ultra-high speed centrifuge is above 30000 rpm.

So just choose a suitable speed according to your needs.

2.Volume Size

In general, centrifuges can be sorted as floor centrifuge and table centrifuge, and the bigger the centrifuge's size is , then the larger the centrifugal chamber gets , and the larger capacity the centrifuge has .

3.Different Rotors

Centrifuge rotors can be divided into angle rotor centrifuge and horizontal rotor centrifuge.

The horizontal rotor is in a vertical state when it is stationary, and the hanging basket is in a horizontal state when it is running, and is at right angles to the rotating shaft.

When the horizontal rotor is used for centrifugation, generally the sample will concentrate the sediment at the bottom of the centrifuge tube.

Angle rotor will form a fixed angle with the rotating shaft. Generally, after centrifugation, the sample is deposited on the bottom and side wall of the centrifugal tube.

Usually, low-speed machines are equipped with horizontal rotors, and high-speed centrifuges need angle rotors to achieve more than 10,000 rpm.

At the end

What I want to say here is that the rotor is very important and is the main part of the centrifuge, so you must pay more attention when purchasing.

If you really don't know what standard rotor is considered as a good rotor, you could consult GlanLab.

In addition to these, buying a centrifuge still depends on the after-sales service. After all, it is not realistic to repair machines by oneself without professional knowledge.

The centrifuge industry in China has a development history of more than 60 years, and the technology is becoming more and more mature. Generally speaking, compared to international famous brands such as Beckman, Thermo Fisher, etc. the gap is very small. (Note: There is still a certain gap in the field of ultra-high speed centrifuges.)

Under the circumstance of the same function, made-in-China centrifuge, only about 1/6 even 1/10 of the well-known brands, is a very cost-effective choice.

A centrifuge manufacturer established in 2001, dedicated to be a sale&service platform to provide the global of various types of centrifuges and related lab products
